(I tried to find a picture like the one of this bench, but all of google image's "primitive benches" were awesome. The craigslist bench wasn't "simple, unsophisticated." It was more "the first or earliest of the kind or in existence, esp. in an early age of the world," left out in the woods to halfway decompose.)

Did I ever tell you that I couldn't bear to give away your little blue desk? And then my mom fell in love with it while I was gone and moved it into her office where now it is happy because it is used every day.
ReplyDeleteDid I ever tell you that I think about that cute desk every time I go to Goodwill? I'm glad it has such a happy home. Last week I bought a chair from Goodwill that someone had painted the exact same shade of blue. If I ever fix my sewing machine, that is where I will sit to sew. And if I don't, at least it will look vibrant in the corner of the living room.
